The Chainsaw

In the rainy town of Zozo, you will find a clock in one of the buildings. It will ask for the Hour, then the Minute, then the Second.

Hour is 6
Minute is 10
Second is 50

Setting it as this will reveal a secret staircase leading to a chest. That chest contains the "Chainsaw" tool for Edgar

Quick Kill

Whenever a monster is invisible (use the "Vanish" spell on the enemy), any spell will work on them including most bosses.

When they are invisible, use X-Zone on them for an instant kill. Use Doom if there is only 1 enemy. This works with most bosses!

Overnight Levels

You will need a turbo controller for this trick!

On the Lete River, there are two parts where you are asked which direction to go. At the second question, always go in the default direction (up). On the Config menu, select the cursor to "Memory".

Next, fight one battle and set the characters to the following commands:

Terra - Fight
Sabin - Fight
Edgar - AutoCrossbow
Banon - Health

Set your turbo (A button), turn off the TV, and go to bed. When you wake up in the morning, you should be at level 50+. Lets see how Kefka likes those apples! :-)

Also take note, you will have a TON of items, and at least 4 million Gil. Happy Shopping!

Easily Kill Undead

When you are in a battle against an undead enemy, use a Revivify or Phoenix Down to instantly kill the enemy.

Moogle Charm

The Moogle Charm is possibly the best relic in the game.

When you first find Mog, talk to him and he will join your party. After he does so, examine the wall behind where he was standing to get the relic.

With this relic, you cannot get into random battles.

Paladin Shield

To earn the Paladin Shield, you must first get the Cursed shield from an old man in Narsh (once you get the Falcon). Equip the shield and win 255 battles with it. That will break the curse, and thus turn the shield into the Paladin Shield.

Economizer Relic

This relic is very useful as it reduces your magic cost to 1 point per spell! Here are three ways to get this relic:

1) Go to the Phoenix Cave with Locke in one of your parties. Steal from Apuila (a bird creature) and you will get an Economizer. Try several times because sometimes you just get a Phoenix Down.

2) Go to the forest east of Gau's father's house. Sometimes a Brachiosaur appears. Fight it (VERY HARD) and sometimes it drops an Economizer.

3) Go to the Coliseum and bet a Gem Box. If you win the battle you'll receive an Economizer.

Second Memento Ring

Go to Strago and Relm's house. In the left hand corner of the room with the table and chairs, face south and press A to get the ring.
