In my opinion, Tactics Advance is a great game. Built off of the original Final Fantasy Tactics on the Sony PlayStation, Tactics Advance takes you to a world full of mystery and intrigue. Your main character, March, is taken from the "real world" to the world of "Ivalice", a world created by his friend who wants nothing more than to be with his departed mother. Laws, judges, clans and battles are everything in Ivalice.
In Tactics Advance, you receive missions at the local pub. These missions are in turn battles either to collect items, free and area, save someone, and more. Through the cut-scenes in the missions, you begin to learn the story of this world and how you may be able to get yourself home.
Abilities are learned by equipping weapons and equipment that have the ability for your class. When you master an ability, you can choose to use that ability even as another class. You can also gain more classes depending on how many abilities you have learned. See the Character Jobs for more information.
