.: Chrono Trigger - Game Endings

Chrono Trigger is very unique in that it has multiple places where you can fight and beat Lavos, the Boss of the game. Each ending gives you a different ending and with the New Game+ feature, you get even more possible endings. The list below is every ending in the game and how to view it.

Normal Ending - This is the basic ending of the game. Beat Lavos at the end of the game via the warp bucket or the Black Omen.

Balloon Ending - A slight variation of the original ending. Travel to 1999 AD using the Epoch to get it.

Crono Ending - Beat Lavos using the warp bucket or the Black Omen, but do it while Crono is dead.

Marle Ending - Similar to the Crono Ending, this ending is found by using the Epoch to get to Lavos while Crono is dead.

The above endings can be changed slightly depending on whether you killed Magus or not. The rest of the endings can only be reached using the New Game+ Feature and fighting Lavos by entering the Lavos Gate (in Lucca's right telepod) at different points in the game.

Programmer's Ending - Beat Lavos when you first reach the Millennial Fair

Frog Ending - Defeat Lavos as soon as you get back from 600 AD

Nu Ending - Defeat Lavos right after you defeat Heckran near the village of Medina.

New Hero Ending - Defeat Lavos immediately after you fight Zombor on the Zenan Bridge.

Character Scenes Ending - Beat Lavos right after you get the Hero Medal from Tata.

Character Stills Ending - This ending is shown if you beat the game after you get back from 65,000,000 BC.

Frog Vs. Magus Ending - To see this one you must beat Lavos after you give the Masamune to Frog in 600AD.

Reptile Ending - This end is shown if you do away with Lavos right after your victory over Magus.

Magus Vs. Lavos Ending - Defeat Lavos immediately after Azala and the Reptiles are history.

Slideshow Ending - As soon as you see Schala open a door with her pendant, go fight Lavos. You must do this at just that time or you'll miss this hard to find ending.

Lavos Ending - Possibly the easiest ending to get. Face Lavos and die�
